Where are the true Patriots?
How does this affect our schools?
I am working as a member of the Rochester Civil Liberties Coalition to educate people about, and mobilize support for correcting the serious flaws in, the PATRIOT Act. We're looking ahead to the next community after our successful campaigns in Rochester and Brighton. Please contact me if you want to help, or would like us to educate your group.
The latest incarnation of the Act makes permanent a number of serious offenses against the Constitution and Liberty. Therefore it must be repealed or at least curtailed in some manner.
For example, it should not be possible for any American to be stripped of their US citizenship and held in prison indefinitely in their birth country as undocumented aliens. Could it happen to YOU tomorrow? Maybe it's time to start paying attention.
